Background: Mr. Brad Wood began his construction career in 1981 and joined Northern Builders, Inc. in 1994. Brad has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.

As Vice President of Construction Services, Brad is responsible for pre-development and construction services for Northern’s Business Park developments, which include due diligence, annexation, zoning, governmental entitlements (including variances, signage and building approvals), construction budget management, selection, hiring, and direction of consultants and subcontractors. He is also involved in the development of scope documents, construction management, and monitoring and coordinating site and building construction.

A few of Brad’s efforts on behalf of Northern Builders, Inc. include General Motors – a 404,473 sf facility located in Bolingbrook, Illinois; the Home Depot/Carlow II – a 750,000 sf facility also located in Bolingbrook, Illinois; Titan Steel – a 115,000 sf facility and Michael’s Distribution Center – a 692,913 sf facility located on New Lenox, Illinois.
